New Assistant Administrator

David Johnson

Dave Johnson has served the healthcare field for over 40 years, incorporating his extensive financial experience with the operational complexities of the long-term care field.  He earned his LNHA (Licensed Nursing Home Administrator) in NJ, PA and Delaware in 1996 and has served as an Administrator, Executive Director and CEO with national and regional providers of long-term care.

Dave has been involved in a number of professional organizations as well, including membership on the Healthcare Financial Management Association Long-term Care Committee, LeadingAge Southeast PA Public Policy Committee, Friends Services for the Aging Workers Compensation Board and the Marriott International Business Council – Delaware Valley.  He also has had the privilege of presenting at the annual national LeadingAge Conference.

A member of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) since 2001, Dave served on the Board of the PA Chapter as Vice President from 2014-2016 and as President from 2016 to the present.  This organization is dedicated to the education and development of leadership in the healthcare field.  On a personal note, Dave was born and raised in West and Southwest Philadelphia.  He attended elementary school at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys.  He graduated with a BA in English/Secondary Education from LaSalle College.  Subsequently, he earned a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from LaSalle University. Dave and his wife, Pat, have been residents of Warminster, Bucks County for 37 years where they raised their three children, Melissa, Christine and Stephen.  Dave and Pat are also the proud grandparents of Brian and Emily.

St. Ignatius Nursing & Rehab Center welcomes Dave and feels blessed to have someone with his credentials and beliefs in the core values of the Felician Franciscan Sisters’ ministry.
