From St. Ignatius Nursing & Rehab Center to Residents, Family Members, Staff and Community Partners

Dear Residents, Family Members, Staff and Community Partners,

As you know, back in December, we had strongly discouraged in-person visits with our Residents due to the rapidly spreading Omicron variant. We had several cases of positive Residents and staff during that time. As we see the number of COVID cases declining in the community, we are liberalizing our in-person visitation. When visiting in person, we will again require you to follow the Core Principles of COVID-19 Infection Prevention as previously outlined (facemasks worn appropriately at all times, social distancing, hand washing). If it is more convenient for you, we can schedule Facetime visits to ensure that you still have the opportunity to see and speak with your loved one. All visits can be coordinated through Michelle Garrison, Director of Activities, by calling her at 215-349-8800, Ext. 272 or emailing her at mgarrison@stinrc.org.

In-person visits will be limited to two adults at a time unless otherwise directed by our staff.
We hope that we can continue the in-person visits without any further interruption but that is contingent on the track of the virus and its continued downturn in the community. We can all help to keep the numbers low by getting vaccinated and practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing.
